Here's what the peeps at HorrorHound had to say: "The original concept for the film was to have the production film at a legit physical (and new) HorrorHound Weekend event (which we had actually planned to host in Louisiana!) – where attendees would have the chance to be extras – finding themselves on-screen in the fourth installment of this long-running franchise. Apparently the filmmakers were actually supposed to shot at a real life convention, but plans fell through due to the pandemic. As the festival arrives and the blood-soaked entertainment builds to a frenzy, Laine believes that something unearthly has been summoned…and that she is at the center of it.HorrorHound has officially confirmed their involvement with the film, which features the characters venturing to the convention in the film. But as the event approaches, Laine begins to experience unexplained premonitions and disturbing visions associated with the town’s past, and in particular, local legend/urban myth The Creeper.
